Imperia Porto Maurizio railway station ((イタリア語:Stazione di Imperia Porto Maurizio)) is one of two stations serving the city and ''comune'' of Imperia, in the Liguria region, northwestern Italy. Opened in 1872, it forms part of the Genoa–Ventimiglia railway, and is situated just over two thirds along the way from Genoa towards Ventimiglia. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Train services to and from the station are operated by Trenitalia. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company. Imperia's other railway station, Imperia Oneglia, is located to the east. ==Location== Imperia Porto Maurizio railway station is situated in Piazza Caduti sul Lavoro, near the centre of the city.
